New Student Council President elected

Haitham Al Najjar was elected as president of the student council for 2009-10

There were seven candidates this year for president and some very impressive speeches were made. The number of votes were tied but after a re-vote, Haitham Al Najjar was elected as president of the student council for 2009-10. He chose Mohammed Al Amry to be his vice president. The two of them have pledged to support students and staff in making RSB a great place to learn.

Haitham chaired the first meeting of the year on 14th October. Students were asked to think about what extra activities they would like offered during lunch times. These would be in addition to those already offered such as homework and chess clubs. A survey will be carried out in school over the next few days.
