Fit 4 Life Week - Mr Tasty
As part of our Fit4life week, all classes were visited by 'Mr. Tasty '. This gave the boys the opportunity to taste new and different healthy foods and drinks. Mr. Tasty was wonderful with the boys and gently persuaded even the most reluctant of our younger boys at Rashid School to try something new and different. Some of the favourites amongst the boys were, Orange and Carrot juice, Banana and Granola smoothie, fresh peaches and melon.

Fit 4 Life Week - Year 5 'You Are What You Eat'
"Be smart and make the right choices" This was the message given to all in year 5 from Miss Alison and Miss Michelle during their 'You Are What You Eat' lesson on Tuesday 28th February.
Fit 4 Life Week - Nurse Mary's Talk About 'Water'
Nurse Mary talked to each class about the importance of water for our bodies.
Here are some interesting facts:
• more than 70% of our body is made up of water
• we can't live for more than a few days without water
• about 70% of our brain is water
