Primary Art Curriculum

The boys are encouraged to be creative, using a variety of media and techniques in art. The boys are given the opportunity to work with a variety of media, as well as develop their understanding of important art ideas and creativity. The aim is for boys to be given both the skills and the knowledge to understand and appreciate art. As these skills grow, the boys are given the independence to imagine and create their own work. This enables them to learn more about themselves and to be able to value their own and others’ individuality.

We aim to promote and encourage creativity, learning about art and different artists. The art curriculum is a great experience and a lot of fun. There is an annual Art Exhibition where every boy has a piece of work displayed.
