Inclusion in Secondary

Rashid School for Boys is committed to educating all students, including students identified as experiencing special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), students who are most able and students with English as an additional language. All students have access to high quality instruction, intervention and support to ensure success in learning.

At Rashid School for Boys we cater for students with a range of additional needs.  Places are offered on our guiding principle that we are able to meet a pupil's learning needs to enable them to achieve their full potential. We follow the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework. The framework provides valuable information about the required standards of educational practice as well as clear guidance for the provision for pupils with SEND.

At Rashid School for Boys we strive to promote the principles of inclusion through our daily practices and special events. We recognise those who work hard with a positive attitude, despite their academic or social difficulties. The Inclusion support department strive to make sure all students are making personal or academic progress through personalised targets and interventions.
