School Leadership Team

Rashid School for Boys has a Leadership Team of four senior staff:

Headmaster: Glyn Kilsby

Glyn has worked at RSB since 1992 and has been Headmaster since 1996.  He started his career as a teacher of Chemistry in the UK and was Head of Science and Deputy Head before moving to Dubai.  As Headmaster Glyn has overall responsibility for leading the school, including staffing, finances, quality and development.

Deputy Head: Mark Sharparaki

Mark has been a member of the school since 1991 and became Deputy Head in 1997.  Mark began his career as a teacher of Physics and has also been a Head of Science.  His many roles at RSB include leading curriculum development, student assessment and overseeing personal and social education within the Secondary Section.

Head of Primary: Glyn Lewis

The newest member of the Leadership Team, Glyn Lewis, joined RSB from Sri Lanka in 2008.  With a wealth of experience, including senior roles in Portugal and UK, Glyn leads the school's Primary Section.

Senior Teacher: Michael Reid

Mike has been at Rashid School for more than twenty years, and as Senior Teacher plays a key role in ensuring that the Secondary Section runs effectively and positively.  He oversees many of the educational systems within the school and is also a key member of the Mathematics Department.
